He has been used almost exclusively over Snowmass’ white females because of his excellence and purity in clear bright white genetics. They have rarely used him over colors as they have been trying to selectively breed for prediction of solid color.
Snowmass has found that both their color and white lines are becoming close. Line breeding is essential for locking in desired traits but this can only be taken so far. There is a time for new genetic lines to be introduced which is why they have chosen to breed Elite Legend to a few of their strong colored females. The outcome has been so remarkable that they now realize the importance of bringing him into their color breeding program on a strategic level.

Snowmass Elite Legend has graced many of the North American Alpaca breeding programs with his progeny. This female is amazing. I fell in love with her lovely fine, bright fleece at the 2013 Parade of Champions and had to have her. Tell Me When has spoken loud and clear....she is truly a champion.

In her first show, as a yearling, she won Color Champion at CABA 2014 in a very competitive light color class. She also placed first in the Alpacamania 2014 fleece show. Her fleece scores have been consistently in the 80's at shows, which demonstrates the exceptional quality of her fleece characteristics.

Her conformation is perfect, and her fleece is truly awesome. At historically less than 20 micron and an SD in the low 3s, her fleece is superfine and incredibly soft and uniform. And this girl has density!

Her champion bloodlines are unequivocal.... Accoyo Elizario, Accoyo Elite, 4P Legacy, Caligula just to name a few. Her regal stature shows she knows how great she is.
